Grants
In Colorado, CPFD is located in the South Central Region – Brenda Wasielewski is our contact within the Division of Fire Prevention and Control (DFPC). They are in charge of VFA grants for wildland.
FEMA is the other primary resource for CPFD grants. Go to FEMA E-Application Portal and enter User ID and Password. All of our successful and failed grant applications are available there for use as boilerplate language.
We have also successfully recieved grants for Emergency Medical Trauma Services (EMTS) from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. We are in the "Plains to Peaks" region.
